Privacy Policy

VoicePage (published by Kerem Arslan / Bounlu, Istanbul) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the VoicePage iOS app and the voicepage.bounlu.com site handle data.
Your account
You sign in to VoicePage with Sign in with Apple. Your name and email (as far as Apple shares them) are used to create your account. We never store passwords.
Your recordings and PDFs
- Your recordings and generated PDFs are stored tied to your account and are accessible only to you.
- Raw processed data is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
- Your recordings are never used for advertising, model training, or sold.
AI processing (Google Gemini)
- What data is sent: When you start generating a PDF, that recording’s audio file (and the transcript text produced from it) is sent for processing.
- Who it is sent to: The data is transmitted to Google’s Gemini API (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), a third-party AI service. The request first passes through our secure servers (Cloudflare).
- How it is collected: Data is collected and sent only when you record and start PDF generation in the app — never silently in the background.
- What it is used for: Solely to transcribe your recording, structure the summary/notes, and build your illustrated PDF for you.
- Your consent: The app clearly discloses this data sharing and asks for your explicit permission before sending any recording for processing the first time. If you do not agree, your recording is not sent.
- Equal protection: Google does not use data sent through the Gemini API to train its models and provides equivalent security/privacy protections. See the Gemini API Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
Subscription
Your Pro subscription is processed by Apple. We use Adapty (a subscription-management provider acting as our processor) and Apple’s StoreKit to know whether your subscription is active. This contains no information about your recordings.
Diagnostics
Anonymous crash/performance data (Sentry) may be collected to monitor app stability. This contains no audio content.
This website
If you leave your email in the “notify me” form, we store it only to tell you when the app launches. Request deletion at support@bounlu.com.
Your rights
To access, correct or delete your data, email support@bounlu.com. Deleting your account removes your associated recordings and PDFs.
